Image Compressor’s Max quality mode keeps width and height. Balanced and Max compress also cap the longest edge at 4096px and 2048px. Crop and resize tools change dimensions on purpose.
Why did my transparent background turn white?
The output was saved as JPG, which has no alpha channel. Export to PNG or WebP to keep transparency.

Around 70–80% is usually indistinguishable at normal viewing size. Compare at full zoom before publishing.
